Some of the remedies from the Malvales order, such as Kola nitida and Cacao (Chocolate) have recently found wide-spread use in homeopathic practice.
The less-known Abroma augusta, from the same family, shares certain characterisitcs with these “drug“ remedies. The following is a brief introduction to the Malvales order and the Sterculiaceae family, illustrated by two cases of Abroma augusta.
